Delafield and Hartland Officer Recovery Benefit

A “Officer Recovery Benefit” is being held for the two officers involved on Sunday, December 6th at Revere’s Wells Street Tavern at 505 Wells St., Delafield, WI 53066. The benefit will start at 1:00 pm and go until 6:00 pm. The benefit will include live music, silent auction items, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffles and more! T-Shirts and Back the Badge signs will also be available for purchase.
On Friday, November 6th, 2020, at approximately 1:40AM, officers from the City of Delafield and Village of Hartland responded to a possible hit and run at the Holiday Inn in the City of Delafield. A 23 year-old male from Fargo, North Dakota, outside of the Holiday Inn. Upon officers meeting and speaking with the male, he produced a handgun and fired multiple shots at two uniformed police officers, striking both officers. Both officers were transported to an area hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
