Stars and S’mores at the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium
Join the UWM Planetarium for the popular annual event, Stars & S’mores! Enjoy eating delicious s’mores and relax outside while gazing at summer constellations and the Moon through the telescopes. S’mores kits are free (one per person while supplies last). Head inside to catch a free 15-minute planetarium stargazing show and make a starry mindfulness jar with the Student Health and Wellness Center. Planetarium shows will run every 20 minutes.
The program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions., This event is open to the public. Not recommended for children under 4.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the show. If you purchase tickets in advance, you do not need to print anything. You can simply check in at the ticket table with your name starting 30 minutes before the show start time.
Doors close 5 minutes after the show starts. Sorry, no late admissions.
If you have not checked in 5 minutes before the show starts (for example, 6:55 pm for a 7:00pm show), we may release your ticket to someone on the waiting list.
