Hartford Schauer Courtyard Music and Market Schedule

Thursday, June 5:

  • Formed in June of 2000, The Acoustix came to be after Doug and Dave got tired of playing in other bands and wanted to do something more casual and intimate. They had used this format, acoustic guitar, and congas, to showcase their full band in the past, allowing the venue to get a taste of what they do. Using this format exclusively, the band has found great success in the Milwaukee area. They are regulars at some of the best music venues in town. They cover great pop songs from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and today and can entertain crowds of all ages. With a wide-ranging repertoire, they can go from providing background music while folks mingle to getting everyone on their feet on the dance floor. The Acoustix are favorites at many private parties, corporate events, and weddings.
  • Food Truck: Thailand in a Truck

Thursday, June 13:

  • Tangled Lines’s instrumental and vocal approach sets them apart from other acts. Lead singer James Davies’s Welsh/British influences make peace with traditional American sounds without overpowering them. The rest of the band has a diverse musical background, including pop, rock, country, and punk. When you put all their talents together, you get Tangled Lines.

Tangled Lines recently won the WAMI People’s Choice award for the Best Band in Southeastern Wisconsin, writing the theme song for John McGivern’s Main Streets TV show and having a few songs featured on popular reality TV shows. The band loves nothing more than playing to their fans and keeping them dancing all night. Anytime you see them, you will hear a mix of their original music (a mix of alternative rock and Americana) and a collection of upbeat, popular cover songs from multiple musical eras. They are also continuing to write new songs and looking forward to the process of putting together a third album in the coming year.

Thursday, June 19:

Thursday, August 21:

  • As voted Celtic Band of the Year by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry for 2019 and 2015, Reilly has earned a reputation for being an interactive, get off your chair act. The band’s travel circuit around the Midwest continues to grow, and their reputation for being a highly respected and professional group continues to grow. National programs such as Good Morning Ireland, Blarney on the Air, and Paddyrock Internet radio have featured Reilly. Celtic Radio Music Network rates them as five out of five stars. Their ability to adapt Celtic music to an American rock audience and include unexpected rock favorites into their set makes them the perfect eclectic choice in today’s watered-down and predictable Celtic scene.

Reilly’s latest release, Revelry and Regret, is their strongest effort to date and showcases their vibrant tongue-in-cheek humor, musical chops, and four-part vocal harmonies. Original tunes and lyrics serve as a confessional—perfect for an Irish band. See “Fireflies” and “One Can Never Be Overly Prepared” for these episodes. Traditionals like “Paddy Works on the Railway” are given a new coat of rollicking musical paint. Though lyrically wistful at times, the band wastes no time to make a live show truly pop with energy.

Being a strong part of the Irish and non-Irish musical community throughout the Midwest, Reilly have appeared regularly at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest, The Irish Cultural and Heritage Center in Milwaukee, Manhattan, IL Irish Fest, Will County, IL Celtic Fest, Bastille Days in Milwaukee, City of Indianapolis events, Harley-Davidson festivals, River Rhythms in Milwaukee, countless St. Patrick’s parades and activities, Bradley Center events, and at far too many Irish pubs and non-Irish locales around the Midwest to mention. They’ve shared the stage with Gaelic Storm, Flogging Molly, Enter the Haggis, The Prodigals, Barra MacNeils, Seven Nations, The Bridies, Luka Bloom, and more. Members of Reilly are also involved with community and social outfits, such as the Wisconsin Area Music Industry and the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin—Milwaukee Chapter.

  • All ages free art activity in the rehearsal hall 6:00–8:00 pm

Thursday, August 28:

  • Three Chords and the Truth! Roots Country Music, Born of Gin Halls and Juke Joints

Hank Williams passion, Carter family harmonies, with a little Hee Haw mixed in for good measure. The WhiskeyBelles are a traditional country and Americana trio based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Belles are widely known for captivating shows featuring their own take on classic and obscure vintage-country, Americana, folk-revival, and roots-country tunes, with their own witty originals sprinkled in. They’ve been compared with the Pistol Annies, Dixie Chicks, and Trio (Dolly Parton, Emmy Lou Harris & Linda Ronstadt). The ‘Belles have personalities as big as the Texan skyline—they have a great time on stage and love to share the fun with their audience.
