Clay Rice is a third generation silhouette artist. Silhouette cutting is an art-form from the mid-1700’s, and Clay’s family has made a comeback in this artistry and excelled at it. Clay is the nation’s leading silhouette artist, and can cut a silhouette profile in as quickly as a minute. His artwork has been showcased in various publications, such as Country Living and the Washington Times, and he has even made an appearance on a television series. Not only does he do silhouette cutting, he is also a children’s book author. He has written and illustrated the following books, “The Stick”, “Mama Let’s Make a Moon”, and “The Lonely Shadow”.

When can I meet Clay?

Clay will be at Silly Willyz in Pewaukee on Satuday, November 5, 2016 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Come to Silly Willyz to capture a moment in time with a classic silhouette of your child done by the nation’s leading silhouette artist Clay Rice. Watch as your child gets their silhouette done in as quickly as 1 minute!

What are the details?

Price: $42/child.  This includes 2 copies of your silhouette  (additional copies can be purchased for $10).

Frames and mats can be purchased for $24.

The best buy package includes a copy of Clay Rice’s book, “Lonely Shadow”, 2 silhouettes and 1 extra silhouette to be mounted in the back of the “Lonely Shadow” book for $60.

Please arrive a few minutes early. The event starts promptly at 10:00 am.

Payment will be collected on the day of the event.
