July 12 (Classic Vehicle Night) • The Rockin’ Robins
Celebrate the Wilson Center’s seventh annual Starry Nights Classic Vehicle night with Milwaukee’s own The Rockin’ Robins, featuring music of the ’50s and ’60s.
July 19 • The Squeezettes
The four-time WAMI award-winning Squeezettes are one of Wisconsin’s most unique attractions! Fronted by ex-burlesque chanteuse turned old school torch singer, the band plays an eclectic blend of “power polka” pop, rock, traditional polkas and waltzes, and tunes you never thought you’d hear played on accordion.
July 26 • Chicken Wire Empire
Contemporary tones blend with traditional roots in one of the hottest up and coming bands in the local and regional music scene, recently named by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as one of five Wisconsin bands to watch! Join us for a night of bluegrass style from the northern middle-west, with heartfelt harmonies and earthy acoustic tones that feel like home.
August 2 • De La Buena
Growing from a trio into a powerful 10-piece over the last six years, De La Buena has been electrifying audiences with their own brand of Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz.
August 9 • Irish Fest Sound Sampler with Frogwater
Two beloved summer traditions combine as we celebrate our second annual Starry Nights’ collaboration with Milwaukee Irish Fest! Lift your feet, drinks, and spirits as we dance under the stars to the sounds of Limerick Partnership scholarship award winners Eadaoin Ni Mhaicin (harp, concertina) and Olivia Budd (fiddle), as well as Milwaukee’s renowned Irish music duo, Frogwater.
August 16 (Guitar Festival Celebration) • Troy Stetina Project
Join us for our final Starry Nights concert of 2019 as we take our seventh annual celebration of all things guitar outdoors for a free evening of live music! This year’s closing performance features the guitar-driven, genre-busting synthesis of the Troy Stetina Project.
