Retzer Nature Center’s Apple Harvest Festival

Retzer Nature Center’s Apple Harvest Festival is back! This autumn festival has a traditional heritage theme, and is sponsored by the Friends of Retzer Nature Center, in cooperation with Waukesha County Parks, WCTC – Waukesha County Technical College, Waukesha Reads, and more. This family-friendly community event features homemade apple desserts, apple cider, an apple market, a Delafield Brewhaus beer garden, a nature passport experience, art & craft exhibitors, children’s activities, a horse-drawn wagon ride, live music, a Friends silent auction, and much more!

  • The Waukesha School District Planetarium will offer a special showing of ‘The Sun, Our Living Star’ every half hour from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for $2 per person (in addition to entrance fee).

Expanded Learning Center will be open!

Cost is $10 per carload. *Friends of Retzer Nature Center members receive FREE entrance into Festival.

*This is a rain or shine event! Severe weather will require Retzer Nature Center to clear the grounds until it passes. They work with the National Weather Service to keep up to date during the event.
