Bring your family to Railfest 2018!!
The East Troy Railroad Museum is expanding its traditional Railfan Day to include a variety of family-friendly activities. Enjoy an interesting, fun and informative day out for families and railfans! All our operating equipment is on display and a different train runs every hour. The first train departs East Troy at 10:00 am and the last train leaves at 3:00 pm. Tickets are good all day on all trains, which are 90 minute round trips.
Family fun activities include:
– Miniature train rides on the MLES 7-1/2” gauge railroad at the Elegant Farmer
– Speeder rides on the East Troy industrial spur
– Face painting in the depot
– Model railroad car building for kids in the depot
– Model railroad displays
– Free popcorn in the depot
– Hot Dogs and Brats for sale across from the depot on Church Street
– Free parking and picnic tables available at the East Troy depot
Train ride tickets are $8 for kids; $12.50 for adults; 2 and under Free

The East Troy Railroad Museum is a living history museum that lets people see and experience what it was like to ride an electric trolley or interurban car 90 to 100 years ago. With more than 30 historic railroad cars, including 15 that currently operate, the railroad features Chicago, South Shore & South Bend interurban cars, a Sheboygan interurban car, and streetcars from Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
