Old World Wisconsin Historic Woodworking Workshop

Step back in time in this immersive introduction to historic woodworking. Work alongside an Old World Wisconsin craftsperson to make your own hand-crafted wooden rake! Students will start with wood blanks and shape, drill and join the parts using hand tools. Each student should take home a finished rake. A lunch featuring traditional sausages, cheese, pretzel, fruit, and a drink will be served in The Creamery and is included in the workshop fee.

About Old World Wisconsin:
Old World Wisconsin documents the settlement of 19th- and early 20th-century Wisconsin. It comprises an 1870s crossroads village and 10 ethnic farmsteads located on 576 acres of wooded hills in the Southern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest.
