Agape Community Church sees kindness as an act of worship. On the 3rd Sunday of the month they go out in the community to serve. This Sunday will be a Clothing, Toy & Home Goods Swap.

How does it work? Bring your gently used adult and children’s clothing, toys, and home goods on Saturday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. They will display all the items to get ready for Sunday.

Then, come back on Sunday from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm and “shop” (for free) and take what your family needs.

If you bring things to donate to the swap, you may come an hour earlier to “shop”…at 10 am. Please make sure anything you bring is clean and in good repair. If you want to donate but cannot make the drop off times, let them know and they will try to make other arrangements!

Everything that is left over at 2:00 pm on Sunday will be donated to local charities.

You do not need to donate in order to shop, and you are not required to shop if you donate! They just want all the participating families to bring what they have and take what they need!

This event will take place in the basement of The Old St. Mary’s church. There are a few steps to get into the basement and they are available to help you if you need it.

SWAP ITEM DROP OFF: Saturday, October 20, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

SWAP: Sunday, October 21
10:00 am – 11:00 am – for anyone who brought items to swap
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – open to everyone

RULES:
1) You do not have to bring items to participate, but if you bring items you get to shop 1 hour earlier.
2) Please make sure your items are clean, in good repair, and current styles.
3) Please put clothing on hangers, if possible.
4) Items you take are for personal use, not to be resold.
