I was contacted by Blaze Pizza to do a write up about the restaurant, and let me tell you I am so happy I was. I took the kids last night out for dinner, which in our world is a big deal. Lets face it, taking 4 kids out to eat a restaurant is a daunting idea in itself, and then trying to contain 4 kids while waiting for food is enough to cause some to have an anxiety attack. Well, while at Blaze Pizza in Brookfield I was so surprised at how quick and efficient it was to order and quickly we got our custom pizzas in hand. Our orders were taken and while I paid and filled up our drinks our names were being called that our pizzas were ready. I hadn’t even had to say to the kids, ‘Sit down, don’t touch that, stop complaining the food is coming” once. Color me impressed! The vibe was slightly modern with out being pretentious and very welcoming. There was ample seating, even for our large family without having to rearrange tables and steal extra seats. While eating I was able to read the menu above where they made the pizzas and saw that there was a gluten free option which lead me to explore their website when I got home. I found there was a nutrition calculator and I tallied up my BBQ CHKN pizza and it had only 140 calories per slice, I was very happy with that!
So being the good readers we are we followed the signs and were greeted and our pizzas were started. The options were endless, from their artisan pizzas-

I decided to go with the BBQ CHKN pizza sans the banana peppers. I was in heaven, it was just what I was craving and it hit the spot, the bonus was that I had leftovers for lunch the next day.
The kids on the other hand went their traditional roots for their toppings. Odyn and Gunnar always love pineapple on their pizza and then Soren and Signe like the traditional Simple Pie. The kids are already clamoring to go back and create a different pizza.
From my experience dining at Blaze Pizza was that it was fast, everyone could order a pizza they were happy with and I am already planning my next trip to try the White Top pizza. I was fortunate enough to talk to John Walsh, the owner of the Blaze Pizza in Brookfield and learn a little more about the company. Me (LCFF) and John (JW).
LCFF: What your favorite Blaze Pizza right now?
JW: I really enjoy the Build Your Own option, but it changes daily, of our Signature Pizzas it is the Red Vine.
LCFF: Does Blaze Pizza accommodate those who have special dietary needs?
JW: Blaze Pizza offers Gluten Free crusts and even a vegan cheese, and then you can customize your pizza further with the topping options.
LCFF: How has the customer response been to the concept?
JW: Everything has been super positive, we have a great deal of repeat customers and the response has been overwhelming.
LCFF: I read that there is possibly more locations in the works, where can we expect to see a Blaze Pizza next in the area?
JW: It is too soon to say, but we are looking in the Metro-Milwaukee area, and the greater Madison area as well.
LCFF: I noticed how fast the service was, how long does it take to bake the pizzas?
JW: It only takes around 180 seconds for the average pizza to cook in the fire oven, the goal is to have your pizza to you in 8 minutes or less from the time you order.
LCFF: I noticed while dining there are fundraising options with Blaze Pizza, how can a group arrange this?
JW: The group will pick a day that works, they receive flyers that they distribute to their friends and family to let them know when to come in, and the fundraiser program returns 20 percent of an event’s proceeds back to the organization.
LCFF: We know that everyone loves to know about special promotions, how can people learn the latest?
