3 Play Places Opening Back Up!

With everything shut down in the past couple months, children haven’t really been away from home in quite some time. With no school and no open play places and no playdates, parents have been trying to do what they can to manage their children’s energy. Of course, nature is always open! But if your kids are missing trampolines, bounce houses, and pretend play – your time has come! Three local play places are opening up!

3 Play Places Opening Back Up!

Are you ready to get your kids out and about? Not quite sure yet? It’s very understandable the caution people have. For those who are feeling ready to have another option to get their kids’ energy out – here are three places that are either already open, opening up, or communicating their safety and hygiene plan for doing so.  

  1. Monkey Joe’s in Waukesha
    • Monkey Joe’s announced on their Facebook Page on May 16 that they will be opening up soon! They did put out some rules they will have to help keep everyone healthy.
      • Please Wear A Mask
      • Please Wash Your Hands
      • Please Practice Social Distancing
      • In the meantime, they have fun activities to do at home found on their Facebook page. 
  2. Sky Zone Milwaukee (Pewaukee/Waukesha) is reopening on May 27!
    • Increased daytime cleaning of all high-frequency touchpoints on a consistent basis in addition to regular cleaning procedures
    • Increased number of sanitizer stations throughout the park including at park entrance, select attractions, party rooms and bathrooms
    • Daily disinfectant spraying or fogging of entire park using products that meet the EPA criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19
    • All Team Members required to wear a face covering/mask
    • Newly installed Plexiglass partitions for Team Members assisting Guests at all cashier stations, front desk and party check-in area
    • New sanitation and safety training completed by all Team Members, along  with new sanitation and safety signage posted throughout park
    • Reduced capacity by at least 50% and social distancing floor markers for queuing at lobby and key attractions
  3. Helium Trampoline and Indoor Adventure Park
    • They had a great re-opening on May 17.
    • “In honor of our re-opening and our 7th anniversary this week Monday, May 18th through Thursday, May 21st, come and jump for only $7.77 per hour!”
    • See their safe guards:
      • Full park sanitizing – regularly and with high frequency
      • Hand sanitizers throughout the park
      • Face masks are required for staff and recommended for guests
      • Limiting capacity, the number of jumpers will be reduced
      • Temperature screening at entrance for guests
      • One way stairs and private seating tables to be more physically distant

If you feel comfortable and are healthy, these businesses are or will be open very soon. If you don’t feel comfortable right now, but feel moved to support their business until you are comfortable again, please reach out to them directly for ways to support them in the mean time.
